BUDGET FOR FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

Are you a parent with a child in Kenyan school? whichever your answer you still stand a better chance to procure a fire extinguisher now that we share neighborhoods. The euphoria sweeping across the Kenyan schools and colleges could soon spill in the estates. This argument is entrenched on the fact that  these lads and lasses trace their origin in the neighbor's compound.

Who knows ? maybe next time the demonstration shall be in the next stall mama mboga hides in the evening. There's need to nip in the bud of the issue before it records disastrous results. Exams? who never sat them? In fact a lot of panel beating has been done on the syllabus to "lighten'' it.There were days when candidates sat for ten subjects .Three more on the current one. This is not credible.

Next time you admit a form one student or worse still in primary school ,the school management is likely to toll on you another heavy cost item. The best extinguisher in town.If not then a necessity at home. For these "DEMONSTRATIONS ARE DEMONS IN STATIONS"

IF FAILURE IS NOT AMONG YOUR CHOICES .........

How do you feel when told you you flopped? Most sincerely the feeling has never been a good one to my ear drums. It comes with its per-conceived ideas. Some of these includes but not limited to ;being a dummy one, intelligence insanity of some degree, lack of proper preparation among others.

LEAVE CLEAN,HISTORY WILL BE KIND.

Who ever thought that the regional millers like Mumias sugar and pan paper would come to their knees? The sad reality is that they indeed sank like the great Titanic ship.Once read of a marine vessel that capsized while carrying wine.Rescue efforts took a long while.I mean years. The wine had grown sweeter and more expensive to afford. This cannot be the narrative of these two millers that enabled many to fend livelihoods.

Former senior managers of these millers names have become household names on mainstream media.fame that they indeed enjoy.but history from this generation and those to come will never be kind to them and their off-springs.let us leave honour and history will be kind to us. in fact very kind.

Aa a result, natives have a narrow  berth of fending livelihood.Bodabodas( motorbike taxis) and sport betting has taken toll on them.Schools endure huge fees arrears and many are terminally dismissed by from educational programs.
The giant miller that once dominated the East African region still struggles to settle farmers debts that amounts to millions of shillings.the government bail out plan to resuscitate this insolvency achieves a mile after  long wait. The tower of hope  that spurred the farming is crumbling pretty fast.Thousands of acres of land that once hosted cane lies fallow or a different crop.
A ray of hope that once blinked in the early seventies has since been dimmed. The pristine lush green  plantations that dotted the expansive Mumias region has now graduated to stunted maize farms.Yellow in color arethe crops ,a clear indication that all is not well with farmers in the region. The failure to afford or procure farm inputs.
